The world we live in is committed to instant gratification. And secular law of attraction feeds on people’s desire to change their lives instantly. But the truth of God’s law of attraction is that, while God can create miracles in a moment, most of the time we have to be patient and wait for His plan to unfold:
“Consider the farmers who patiently wait for the rains in the fall and in the spring. They eagerly look for the valuable harvest to ripen. You, too, must be patient. Take courage, for the coming of the Lord is near.” (James 5:7-8)
There are many things that could be creating negative vibrational pull and delaying your success. Maybe you can clarify your positive desire statement to more clearly identify your want or find some additional ways to visualize your desire. You might want to work on removing any remaining doubt and resistance you may still have, and identify any limiting beliefs that may be holding you back from allowing your desire into your life.
But these tactics may still not speed things along. As the priest said in the movie “Rudy”: “Prayer is something we do in our time. The answers come in God’s time.”
Ultimately, the answer is as simple as letting go of your control and re-committing your desire to God through prayer. Quit worrying or even thinking about how things will get done and let God handle the ‘how’.
“Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?” (Matthew 6:27)
God is the architect and creator of His law of attraction, and it will work whether you are aware of it or not. What you focus your energy and attention on will be created in your life, and, like all things, as Christians our only task is to have faith and commit our lives to Christ.
“Commit your actions to the Lord and your plans will succeed.” (Proverbs 16:3)
